CORE PURPOSE OF JOB

The main purpose of this position is to provide efficient, professional administrative support to the Emthonjeni Student Wellness Unit by coordinating all administration-related functions to ensure the effective and smooth operation of the office, thereby contributing to the delivery of accessible, confidential, and student-centric support services.

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support
  • General office management
  • Filing and information management
  • Financial administration
  • Human Resource administration

 

CORE COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong computer skills (ITS, MS Office, Internet, e-mail)
  • Good verbal, digital and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

To be considered for appointment to this post, candidates should have complied with the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in which the above competences have been gained.
  • A qualification in secretarial, office management, public relations or communication qualification will be an added advantage.
