- To provide academic leadership to staff and students in the Business School
- To conduct, publish, and supervise research
- To create, develop and facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competitiveness of students on the Master in Maritime Management and post graduate programmes in the Business School, enabling them to become competent and experienced managers.

- Facilitate learning and teaching activities within the Business School
- Contributing and lecturing on the Masters in Maritime Management and other post graduate programmes in the Business School
- Conducting, publishing, supervising and promoting research activities within the Business School
- Performing administrative and management duties in the Business School

- Expert knowledge in the theory and application of Maritime Management, including strategic management and research

REQUIREMENTS

|
In order to be considered for appointment to the lecturer post, candidates must:
- Be in possession of a masters degree in a commercial maritime management related field.
- Have 2 years relevant lecturing / business / consulting experience, preferably within the Maritime field
- Having a track record of supervising postgraduate students
- Preference will be given to candidates that have presented research findings at conferences
- Preference will be given to candidates who have progressed with doctoral studies in a commercial maritime management related field.
