CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
|
- To provide academic leadership to staff and students in the Business School, particularly in the areas of entrepreneurship, marketing, organisational development and people management, sustainable development (ESG), and strategy;
- Conducting, publishing, supervising and promoting research;
- To create, develop and facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competitiveness by learners on the MBA and other programmes enabling them to become competent and experienced managers.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
|
- Providing academic leadership to staff and students in the Business School;
- Facilitating the learning processes and outcomes of the Business School;
- Directing and ensuring academic and industry engagement;
- Conducting, publishing, supervising and promoting research;
- Performing administrative and management duties in the Business School.
- Contributing and lecturing in the following areas of entrepreneurship, marketing, organisational development and people management, sustainable development (ESG), and strategy;

- Expert knowledge in the theory and application of relevant MBA disciplines;
- Good business and industry related experience – especially in a consulting environment;
- Extensive experience at facilitating learning of adult and post-graduate learners;
- Evidence of contributions to the creation of knowledge, e.g. by extensive research and publishing in accredited journals;
- Experience in the supervision of Masters and Doctoral candidates;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent networking skills and the ability to work in a team;
- Strong people management skills.

REQUIREMENTS

Professor. Candidates must:
- Have a relevant Doctoral degree with two years working experience as an Associate Professor
- Have relevant business and/or consulting experience
- Have extensive experience in facilitating learning of adult and post-graduate learners
- Have published journal articles in accredited journals and book chapters
- Have presented research findings at conferences
- Have a track record of successful research supervision and examination of postgraduate students
Associate Professor. Candidates must:
- Relevant Doctoral degree with three to seven years relevant working experience
- Have relevant business and/or consulting experience
- Have extensive experience in facilitating learning of adult and post-graduate learners
- Have published journal articles in accredited journals and book chapters
- Have presented research findings at conferences
- Have a track record of successful research supervision and examination of postgraduate students
Senior Lecturer. Candidates must:
- Relevant Doctoral degree with one to five years relevant working experience
- Have relevant business and/or consulting experience
- Have extensive experience in facilitating learning of adult and post-graduate learners
- Have published journal articles in accredited journals and book chapters
- Have presented research findings at conferences
- Have a track record of successful research supervision and examination of postgraduate students
